New Michelin Pilot Sport 3 launched
Michelin has launched the new Pilot Sport 3 to replace part of its Pilot Exalto and Pilot Sport 2 ranges. It is claimed to be the only tire to combine outstanding on-road performance with environmental features unrivalled in its category.
Its maker says that on wet surfaces, the Pilot Sport 3 holds the road better when cornering and stops three metres shorter than its predecessor. In addition, the new tire provides very precise steering for an enjoyable driving experience. Supposedly, unlike any other sports tire, it also boasts outstanding fuel efficiency and extended mileage among its dynamic qualities.
Pilot Sport 3 is already OE-fit on the Audi A5 and the Mercedes E63 AMG.
