ABD develops sine-dwell software and new control stick
Following extensive development and testing work, Anthony Best Dynamics (ABD) has added an FMVSS126 Sine-Dwell test group to its steering robot controller software. With the ESC test becoming a requirement for vehicle testing around the world, ABD says this has been one of its most-requested new features of all time.
Also new is the Control Stick (right). Intended mainly for doing short-duration aggressive tests (fish-hook, sine-dwell, etc), this device is connected in place of the joystick while retaining both the closed-loop lever control and the start button. Using this, there is no need to mount the joystick device to the driver's window, freeing-up more cabin space and improving visibility.
