Cranfield University to offer chassis courses
Cranfield University is to offer a number of CPD courses in Chassis Dynamics and Control (CDC) in 2010. Course director is Professor Dave Crolla (left), who wrote the Bloodhound dynamics feature that can be found elsewhere on the VDI website.
With the support of industrial partners at IPG Automotive and Millbrook Proving Ground, plus leading academics working in the field, Cranfield CDC courses offer an opportunity to both learn and experience today’s state-of-the-art CDC technology and gain an insight into its future direction.
A number of courses are available: Introduction to Vehicle Dynamics; Vehicle Dynamics and Suspensions; and Chassis Control Systems. The latter two will involve practical ride-and-drive sessions at the Millbrook test tracks, plus a hands-on computing session on the modeling and simulation tools for vehicle dynamics case studies.
