Tasks

  • Implementing algorithms in the MATLAB / SIMULINK environment
  • Writing specifications for development of software components
  • Designing control algorithms in the field of active chassis systems and electric vehicle powertrains systems
  • Testing and documenting software components
  • Designing concepts and presenting the results
  • Collaborating with international project teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering or related fields with focus on the model-based design
  • Good knowledge of the MATLAB/SIMULINK/STATEFLOW environment and other MATLAB toolboxes
  • Good knowledge of programming languages such as Python and C++ is considered an advantage
  • Several years of working experience in the field of e-mobility such as control of powertrain of an electric vehicle and control of active chassis systems is considered an advantage
  • Good knowledge of development standards according to (A)SPICE, ISO26262, MISRA is considered a plus
  • Good knowledge of automotive development tools from dSPACE/Vector/ETAS is considered a benefit
  • Enthusiasm for modern technologies and cars
  • English language is mandatory and German language is considered a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer
  • Willingness to travel
