Subjective evaluator for Porsche vehicle dynamics

For our Contidrom testing location in Wietze we are looking for a new Engineer (m/f/diverse) for subjective tire evaluation of Porsche cars. The main tasks of this position are:

  • Performing test rides for subjective evaluation of vehicle dynamics on dry, wet and winter road conditions
  • Evaluation of tire performance on racetracks and proving grounds like Contidrom, Nuerburgring or Nardo (Italy)
  • Representing customers’ handling test philosophies for the development of tire-related driving performance with the aim of technical approval
  • Responsibility for the overall organisation of tests as well as for the discussion of test results with the development team
    • University degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or natural sciences
    • Profound experience in the field of driving quality evaluation preferred
    • Strong and reproducible car control skills, also in extreme driving manoeuvres
    • Driver license necessary
    • Experience in motorsports preferred
    • Very good written and spoken English and German language skills
    • Good team and communication skills
    • High initiative and high assertiveness
    • High willingness to travel (more than 50%) and flexibility
