Ansible Motion, a supplier of Driver-in-the-Loop (DIL) automotive simulation technology, has moved its base to the MotorSport Vision Innovation Park in Snetterton, UK. The new headquarters is double the size of the company’s previous facility in Hethel, UK, where it has been based since 2009. While the Hethel facility had Lotus as a famous neighbour, the new location, adjacent to the Snetterton race circuit, puts the company closer to its motorsport clients.

As Dan Clark, managing director of Ansible Motion, stated: “Our company has a long motorsport heritage, and we continue to work with several professional teams in categories that include F1, WRC, WEC, IndyCar and Off-Road racing. So, relocating to a simulation centre adjacent to Snetterton circuit – one of the UK’s premier racetracks – is an excellent fit for us.”

More importantly, doubling the footprint of its facility will enable Ansible Motion to further expand its global operations, for new clients and existing one such as Ford, Honda, BMW Group, General Motors and Continental.

“Ansible Motion is expanding rapidly, so we’re excited to be a part of this new technology and innovation hub in Norfolk, which will connect us with a broader growth ecosystem [Ansible Motion is the first tenant at the 13-hectare business park]. The new simulation centre will double the size of our existing facilities and allow us to house all our research and development, design and manufacturing under one roof,” added Dan Clark. “We will also be able to grow our team. We currently employ 55 staff, and it’s our intention to grow to approximately 90 over the next three years following the move to the new facility.”

Ansible Motion will be the first company to set up in the Snetterton Innovation Park
