VI-grade and MIRA team-up

VI-grade and MIRA have announced a strategic partnership, according to which, MIRA will act as a reference site for the automotive software solutions developed and marketed by VI-grade.

In detail, the development partnership calls for MIRA to evaluate the software products developed by VI-grade, providing independent development guidance from a vehicle dynamics engineering perspective, rather than just software engineering. Additionally, MIRA will supply digital data of its MIRA Proving Ground circuits to VI-grade to be used in VI-DriveSim, VI-grade’s driving simulation solution allowing users to experience the MIRA virtual proving ground both on off-line simulations with VI-CarRealTime and on-line on static and dynamic simulators developed by VI-grade.

“We are excited about the consolidation of our long-lasting collaboration with VI-grade,” said Dr Geoff Davis, chief commercial & technical officer. “In particular, we are looking forward to the joint development of a new software tool aimed to automate the creation of a VI-CarRealTime model to complement the SPMM (K&C rig) service currently provided by our organization.”

“We are very happy to report our strategic partnership with MIRA,” added Guido Bairati, sales director, VI-Grade. “According to the agreement, we will promote MIRA’s services as part of our worldwide sales and marketing activities, through a series of joint customer visits and the participation to selected trade shows and industry exhibitions.”
