Experience the Porsche Taycan ‘Ring record

0

Join test driver Lars Kern in a pre-series Porsche Taycan as he sets a new record at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife for four-door, all-electric sports cars. How long will you need to watch this video? Just seven minutes and 42 seconds…

The Nürburgring test is the latest landmark in the development programme for the Taycan, which has also undertaken 26 successive acceleration runs from zero to 200km/h and completed 3,425km within 24 hours at Nardò.

Kern did have an advantage, as at an early development stage of the Taycan project, Porsche’s development engineers started ‘driving’ a Taycan around the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in a simulator, so that they could test and evaluate its performance on a virtual track.
