Testing the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE

The development team from Affalterbach have been evaluating the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE at the Mercedes test track at Immendingen. This hypercar transfers Formula 1 hybrid technology from the race track to the road, producing over 1,000 PS and reaching top speeds in excess of 350km/h (217mph).

Project ONE has a multi-link front and rear, with an adjustable coil-over suspension that has both push-rod spring struts installed across the direction of travel. The innovative arrangement of the spring/damper unit replaces the function and application of conventional tubular cross members. The overall setup of the springs and dampers is configured for perfectly balanced, easily controlled and sporty handling, assisted by all-wheel drive and torque vectoring.
