An autonomous NASCAR crash test

NASCAR has partnered with AB Dynamics to conduct an autonomous crash test of its Next Gen racecar using driving robots. The car was driven at 130mph along a pre-programmed course before impacting the banking wall at Talladega Superspeedway. This test provided real-world crash data that AB says is more valuable than that from traditional sled-based tests
