Germany-based transport engineering software company, dSPACE has opened a new development site in Croatia. The site in Zagreb, named dSPACE Engineering d.o.o., has 33 staff, who will immediately start to support product development at dSPACE’s Paderborn headquarters with a view to increasing the company’s development capacities. By founding the Zagreb site, dSPACE is benefiting from what it has recognized as a highly trained IT expert workforce in Croatia, which may also result in further recruitment potential.

“We are delighted to welcome so many highly qualified new colleagues to the dSPACE family with the opening of our new office in Zagreb,” said Martin Goetzeler, CEO of dSPACE. “The know-how we have here and the great motivation will be of tremendous help to us in mastering the challenges of the future.”

The new development capacities are being integrated into dSPACE’s existing tool and process landscape for product development, enabling the companies to operate with high efficiency right from the start. “Thanks to our modern infrastructure and the latest development methods, we are well networked with other dSPACE locations around the world,” said Borivoje Đermanović, section manager of dSPACE Engineering d.o.o. “The fact that our work can support the worldwide development of state-of-the-art technologies, such as autonomous driving, also offers very exciting prospects for the future.”
