Nissan has selected Valeo as the Tier-1 system supplier for its next-generation ProPILOT programme, delivering a hardware and software platform designed to enable next-generation AI-based driving capabilities.
As the lead system integrator, Valeo will bring together advanced sensors, ADAS computing, and ‘Wayve AI Driver’ software as the driving intelligence layer, to create a production-ready solution for Nissan’s future vehicles.
Valeo says the programme will bridge advanced AI capabilities with the safety, quality and scalability requirements of mass-production vehicles.
As the system provider, Valeo will supply a full-stack hardware and software solution designed to provide 360-degree situational awareness and high-performance computing.
Valeo’s contribution to Nissan’s next-generation ProPILOT system includes Centralised Intelligence thanks to an ADAS Domain Controller designed to process complex AI algorithms and support centralised vehicle intelligence.
Valeo will work with Nissan and Wayve to validate, integrate and industrialise the complete solution for the ProPILOT programme.
