Nissan takes e-4Orce pole to pole

Enjoy a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the Nissan Ariya e-4Orce’s journey to get ready for an expedition from the magnetic North Pole to the South Pole. The modified Ariya, which is due to be unveiled in February, will be driven by British adventurer Chris Ramsey and his wife, Julie Ramsey, over 17,000 miles through extreme conditions, making it the first vehicle of any type to take on the journey.

In preparation for the harsh polar terrains of the Arctic and Antarctic, the vehicle is being modified with a raised suspension and flared wheel arches to accommodate large tyres and additional body kit

The expedition is intended to promote the capabilities of EVs, and also to demonstrate the progressive capabilities of the e-4ORCE all-wheel control technology that manages power output and braking performance.
