The Isle of Man TT Festival is world-famous for its thrilling motorcycle races around the Mountain Course. The course is rather tighter for cars though, as journalist Steve Sutcliffe found out when he piloted a Mustang Bullitt around the island as part of Ford’s Europe’s Greatest Driving Roads series.

“Imagine German autobahns, then add hills and twists, and shrink it to a single carriageway with incredible views, and what you have are these utterly fantastic, and dramatic, roads,” said Sutcliffe. “The Mountain Road feels – and is – an utterly dramatic place to drive. It’s epic, and quite unlike anywhere else”.
